On 19 March, from 09:00 to 12:00, the training seminar “Competition Law in Mozambique” will take place in Maputo. This in-person event will be held in Auditorium 1 at ISCTEM.
The initiative is jointly organised by the Competition Regulatory Authority (ARC), ISCTEM, Morais Leitão – through the Morais Leitão Legal Circle network – and MDR Advogados, bringing together regulators, academics and lawyers to discuss recent developments and future challenges in the country’s competition policy.

The event will conclude with a debate and Q&A session at 11:30, followed by closing remarks at 12:00.
The seminar aims to promote legal reflection and deepen technical knowledge of competition law in Mozambique, at a time when the topic is becoming increasingly relevant for market functioning and regional economic integration.
The initiative is aimed at lawyers, legal practitioners, academics, students and professionals interested in competition matters, creating a platform for knowledge-sharing between the regulator, academia and the legal profession.
