Paula Duarte Rocha and Mara Rupia Lopes participated as speakers at the event organised by ICC YAAF (Young Arbitration and ADR Forum), in partnership with the Mozambican Bar Association, under the theme “Building a Career in Arbitration: Opportunities and Challenges for Young Arbitrators and Lawyers”, held on 28 November.
Paula Duarte Rocha joined Panel I – Pathways to a Career as an Arbitrator, which focused on sharing professional experiences and strategies for building a successful career in arbitration. Mara Rupia Lopes took part in Panel IV – Online Arbitration and the Use of Technology: Advantages, Challenges and the Future, which addressed the impact of technology on arbitration and the emerging trends in this field.
The event also featured the participation of Tiago Arouca Mendes, Managing Partner of MDR Advogados, who acted as Master of Ceremonies throughout the session.
