Tiago Arouca Mendes takes part in the podcast of the Mozambican Bar Association

Tiago Arouca Mendes, managing partner of MDR Advogados and a member of the Commission for the Internationalisation of the Legal Profession (CIAD), was one of the most recent guests on the “Ordem Viva” podcast, produced by the Mozambican Bar Association. During the conversation, moderated by Dr Dimétrio Manjate, in his capacity as National Councillor and Member of the Internationalisation Commission of the OAM, they discussed topics such as the growth of foreign investment in the country and the importance of solid legal advisory services to ensure security and predictability for investors.

During the interview, he highlighted that sectors such as energy, infrastructure and public–private partnerships continue to drive the demand for specialised legal advice. His participation also highlighted the role of MDR Advogados as a leading reference in the Mozambican market, supported by its connection to the Morais Leitão Legal Circle. This network enables the firm to combine close familiarity with the local context and global expertise, offering an integrated response to the needs of companies and investors.

Throughout the discussion, Tiago Arouca Mendes also stressed the importance of continuous training, professional ethics and the intelligent use of technology as pillars of a modern and efficient legal practice. His intervention further reinforces MDR Advogados’ commitment to supporting strategic operations and contributing to a more robust, transparent and competitive business environment in Mozambique.
