Geth dos Santos Tangune and Aureu Luís Armando participate as trainers in a masterclass on Labour Law in Mozambique

Lawyers Geth dos Santos Tangune and Aureu Luís Armando, from MDR Advogados, will participate as trainers in the “Labour Law in Mozambique” Masterclass, organised by the African Influence Exchange (AIE).

The two-day training aims to provide participants with an in-depth understanding of Mozambican labour legislation, covering key topics such as employment contracts, rights and duties of employers and employees, leave and special regimes, disciplinary procedures, dismissals, and the employment of foreign citizens.

The masterclass will take place in Portuguese on 15 October, in Maputo, and in English on 29 October, via webinar.

The programme, designed for business leaders, human resources directors, legal managers and consultants, seeks to strengthen the practical and strategic understanding of the rules governing labour relations in Mozambique, as well as the procedures associated with the Labour Inspectorate and the employment of foreign nationals.
