Tiago Arouca Mendes, managing partner of MDR Advogados, is participating today, 15 September, in Lawyers’ Week, organised by the Maputo City Provincial Council of the Mozambique Bar Association.
As part of the programme, Tiago Arouca Mendes will moderate the panel “Investment in Information and Communication Technology for the Management of Law Firms: Challenges and Opportunities”, dedicated to the role of technology in transforming the management and organisation of law firms. The session begins at 4:00 p.m. at the IPAJ headquarters in Maputo.
The panel will feature contributions from Dimétrio Manjate and Thaís Gomes and forms part of a series of discussions focused on the future of the legal profession. Throughout the week, the programme will also address topics such as anti-money laundering, professional independence, legal marketing, and the challenges facing young lawyers and women in the legal profession.
Lawyers’ Week takes place from 14 to 19 September in Maputo, under the theme “A Strong Bar, a Respected Legal Profession, a Fairer Mozambique”.
