Ricardo António Mujui
Trainee
Ricardo António Mujui joined MDR Advogados in 2025.
Ricardo began his career as a paralegal at the Legal Clinic of the Faculty of Law at Eduardo Mondlane University, rendering pro bono legal assistance in the areas of Labour and Family Law (2022-2023). He later joined Business, Trading and Consulting, Lda. as a Legal Researcher, focusing on analysis and research related to Capital Markets regulation in Mozambique.
From November 2023 to April 2024, he was a trainee lawyer at JLA Advogados. Thereafter, he joined Tree Consulting, Lda. as a legal consultant, where he assisted in the drafting of legal opinions, contracts, and the follow-up of judicial proceedings.
Before joining MDR Advogados, he worked as a Compliance Officer at Maximo Group, SA, where he was responsible for ensuring the regulatory compliance of the financial group’s operations with supervisory authorities, including the Bank of Mozambique and the Insurance Supervision Institute of Mozambique.

Education
Law Degree (Faculty of Law at Eduardo Mondlane University, 2023). Executive Course in Auditing, Compliance, and Risk Management (ISUTC Executive Education). Attending a degree program in International Relations and Diplomacy (Joaquim Chissano University – awaiting thesis defense). Currently attending a Master’s degree in Legal and Economic Sciences (Faculty of Law at Eduardo Mondlane University, in partnership with the University of Lisbon).
